زمینه: اضطراب سلامت بر ابعاد مختلف زندگی افراد اثرات نامطلوبی دارد. پیش‌ازاین، مطالعاتی درباره نقش عوامل مرتبط با آن صورت‌گرفته است، اما به نظر می‌رسد که مدل‌سازی جامعی از نقش میانجی‌گری نشخوار فکری در ارتباط با اضطراب سلامت، حساسیت اضطرابی و شدت نشانه‌های جسمانی ارائه نشده است.
هدف: پژوهش حاضر با هدف بررسی نقش میانجی‌گر نشخوار فکری در رابطه بین حساسیت اضطرابی و شدّت نشانه جسمانی با اضطراب سلامت بود.
روش: پژوهش حاضر توصیفی - همبستگی از نوع معادلات ساختاری است. جامعۀ پژوهش شامل تمامی دانشجویان دانشگاه شهید بهشتی تهران در سال تحصیلی 1403-1404 تشکیل دادند که از بین آنها به روش خوشه‌ای چندمرحله‌ای 403 نفر به‌عنوان نمونه انتخاب شدند. ابزارهای این پژوهش شامل پرسشنامه اضطراب سلامت (سالکوسکیس و همکاران،2002)، پرسشنامۀ حساسیت اضطرابی (فلوید و همکاران، 2005)، پرسشنامۀ تشدید جسمانی حسی (بارسکی و همکاران،1990) و پرسشنامه تنظیم شناختی هیجان (گارنفسکی و همکاران، 2007) بود. داده‌ها با استفاده از آمار توصیفی (میانگین و انحراف معیار)، همبستگی پیرسون و مدل‌یابی معادلات ساختاری با نرم‌افزارهای SPSS-25 و AMOS-24 تحلیل شد. نقش میانجی‌گر با روش بوت‌استرپ و سطح معناداری 05/0 آزمون گردید.
یافته­ ها: نتایج نشان داد که مدل از برازش مطلوبی برخوردار است. حساسیت اضطرابی و شدّت نشانه‌های جسمانی رابطه مثبت و مستقیمی با اضطراب سلامت داشتند (به ترتیب 26/0= β،05/0p< و 24/0 β=،05/0p<). همچنین، این متغیرها به‌صورت غیرمستقیم و با نقش میانجی‌گر نشخوار فکری با اضطراب سلامت مرتبط بودند (به ترتیب 10/0 β=،05/0 p< و 13/0 β=،05/0 p<).
نتیجه‌گیری: براساس نتایج پژوهش می‌توان گفت که نشخوار فکری در ارتباط بین حساسیت اضطرابی و شدّت نشانه‌های جسمانی با اضطراب سلامت نقش میانجی‌گر دارد. این یافته‌ها اهمیت شناسایی و مداخله بر نشخوار فکری را در کاهش اضطراب سلامت نشان می‌دهد و می‌تواند مبنای طراحی برنامه‌های آموزشی و درمانی برای دانشجویان یا افراد دارای حساسیت اضطرابی بالا و علائم جسمانی برجسته قرار گیرد. به‌کارگیری مداخلات شناختی - رفتاری برای کاهش نشخوار فکری می‌تواند از تشدید اضطراب سلامت پیشگیری کند.
