زمینه: اختلال علائم جسمی به‌صورت اشتغال ذهنی فرد با ترس از بیمار شدن یا اعتقاد وی مبنی بر ابتلا به یک بیماری جدی تعریف شده است که با نشانه­های شناختی، هیجانی و رفتاری ارتباط دارد. تنظیم شناختی هیجان از جمله مشکلات مهمی است که در دختران مبتلا به اختلال علائم جسمانی وجود دارد و درمان متمرکز برشفقت با تأکید بر تنظیم هیجان، توجه­آگاهی، شفقت با خود و دیگران و افزایش خرد، همدلی و مسئولیت­پذیری می­تواند در کاهش نشانه­های این افراد مؤثر باشد.
هدف: هدف از پژوهش حاضر بررسی اثربخشی درمان متمرکز بر شفقت بر علائم جسمانی، تنظیم شناختی هیجان و خودکارآمدی مراقبت از خود در دختران دبیرستانی مبتلا به اختلال علائم جسمانی بود.
روش: روش پژوهش نیمه آزمایشی از نوع پیش­آزمون پس­آزمون با گروه گواه و پیگیری دوماهه بود. جامعه آماری تمامی دانش­آموزان دختر متوسطه دوم شهرستان کامیاران بودند که در سال تحصیلی 1404-1403 مشغول به تحصیل و مبتلا به اختلال علائم جسمانی بودند. نمونه آماری به‌صورت نمونه‌گیری خوشه­ای انتخاب شد و شامل  30 نفر از این دانش‌آموزان بودند که از میان 58  نفر که دارای نمره بالا در پرسشنامه علائم جسمانی بودند انتخاب و پس از اجرای مصاحبه تشخیصی در دو گروه 15 نفره آزمایشی و گواه به‌صورت تصادفی جایدهی شدند. برای گردآوری داده­ها از پرسشنامه علائم جسمانی (لاکورت و همکاران، 2013)، تنظیم شناختی هیجان (گارنفسکی و همکاران، 2001) و خودکار آمدی مراقبت از خود (لو و اون، 1996) استفاده شد. گروه آزمایش درمان متمرکز بر شفقت (پل گیلبرت، 2009) را در 10 جلسه 90 دقیقه­ای طی دو ماه دریافت کردند. داده ­های گرد­آوری شده با استفاده از آزمون­ های تحلیل واریانس با اندازه گیری­های مکرر و آزمون بونفرونی در نرم‌افزار SPSS26 تحلیل شد.
یافته­ ها: نتایج نشان داد که شرکت‌کنندگان گروه آزمایش در تنظیم شناختی هیجان و خودکارآمدی مراقبت از خود نسبت به گروه گواه نمرات بالاتری گزارش کردند (001/0≥P) همچنین بهبودی نشانه ­های علائم جسمانی و تنظیم هیجان در گروه آزمایش در مرحله پیگیری دیده شد (001/0≥P).
نتیجه‌گیری: به نظر می­رسد درمان متمرکز بر شفقت با بهره ­گیری از فنونی مانند ابراز شفق ت­ورزی برای خود و دیگران، همدلی، پذیرش، خرد و توجه آگاهی می‌تواند تأثیر بسزایی در پیشگیری و کاهش نشانه ­های اختلال علائم جسمانی داشته باشد.
